I posted about logging out last week. And while META makes it difficult to do so, I did that. Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Whatsapp.

I was only initially shocked at how much more slowly the time passes when I am not giving 3-4 hours of my day to scrolling. It is a lonely practice. I suppose I am looking for something I never find here. Something that makes sense? So now I’m looking inward a bit more, and making my doctor’s appointments and prepping documents to file my taxes.

::insert small rant:: i learned that filing is a way to get back the money uncle sam takes regardless of what you prefer. Every year I’m learning to take more of my income TF BACK ::end rant::

I have mostly opted out of the chaos that is the news cycle, it is nothing but bad on top of bad. And I hear it second hand anyway, whether I want to or not.

I tried BlueSky, so far it’s a yawn. For now, you can find me getting my kicks with the @spillmob. Name’s the same on both. And if I’m lucky… I might pick back up on my writing on Substack.
